I couldn't tell what I was supposed to use, this kit includes a bus for connecting a separate pickup switch, but the setup does not require this bus. The drawings were for six other designs. I had to search for a two pickup passive tone one battery drawing on the emg website and from there had no problems hooking up intil I realized the jack SRT arrangement was drawn wrong...so I studied the jack up close and figured out those points. Then I got rid of the switch bus. Not hearing the full range of volume and the bridge volume control has tonal interference- it changes tone as you go louder or softer.
