Light and easily configurable with quick binding to FlySky receivers. Made my conversion for all my RC cars from old FM to 2.4 Ghz quick and easy. Now I only have to carry one controller with an "all day " battery to run my RC cars . Comes with battery , extra grip handle and 1 pre-bound 3 channel receiver ! Great deal ...

overall works good, no issues with range, do have to watch the DR button on the side of the grip or you will quickly dial out your steering without realizing your doing it.. would like to see that button in a different place, concerns about weather the radio remembers settings when the battery is changed. dont know if it does. on the upside the battery is slightly larger than a cell phone battery and charged by a micro usb port connection on the side. its light weight and steering control is smooth and precise as is throttle. it has features like DR and expo, end point adjustments, etc which you dont normally see in this price range as well as a lit lcd display. the included rx is very compact i think it could fit in most any rc car even down to the little 1/18 cars maybe smaller.

Bought this for my son to replace the stock transmitter that came with his Traxxas Slash 4X2. Installation and setup was a breeze. Allows you to configure throws and limits in very small increments. Great for younger drivers to be able to control how much, and how fast, controls work. But as they get better you can increase to match their skills. Comes with a second grip support for smaller hands. Steering grip feels good and solid.

This is a great radio for those still stuck on FM or AM systems. For a great price you get a good digital radio with features seen on more expensive systems. For non-competitive users, this is a great radio with standard features, plus a couple extras that are great for hobbyists. Add to that the fact that for a few dollars more you can purchase extra receivers which can be used if you have more than one vehicle. The radio is capable of storing up to 10 unique vehicles and all the settings for each one.The build quality is great at this price point. Durable materials and not too cheap looking. The steering wheel has nice movement and good spring return. The radio has a small Lithium battery, like those found on a cell phone. This makes the radio very light weight and easy to handle. The only negative is the location of a dual rate adjustment button right near the grip. At first use, you may end up moving this adjustment and find yourself with less steering than you need. Once you become familiar and accustomed to the radio you will find a grip which will avoid these buttons.Other than that, this radio is a must buy for beginners or hobby level users who want to update their radios without breaking the bank.

I'm going to caveat this review by saying I'm not an RC fanatic like some other people that have purchased this. And I mean fanatic in the nicest way possible.I recently bought a used F1 car to race with friends and all I needed was a radio and receiver. A friend of mine (who is a fanatic) suggested this radio to me since he had recently purchased one for his son. My friend is quite the RC connoisseur, so when he suggests an RC product, I pretty much buy it without asking questions. He was right on the money about this. First, it has a rechargeable battery which is great. No more lugging around AA batteries for the radio. This does make the radio very light which can make it feel "cheap". If this bothers you, you can tape a brick to the bottom of it to give it some heft. I don't mind the weight, I love it. It comes with a mini-USB cable for charging which is nice--I wish everything in the world was chargeable by USB cable because it means one less charger I don't have to worry about losing.I won't go into all the details of what can be adjusted with this thing, since other reviewers have done a pretty good job at done it--but it has all the usual stuff: dual rate adjustments, end points, anti-lock, trim, non-linear ramping, blah blah blah. Oh, and it came with a CD. I have no idea what was on it, I threw it away. And you can buy the receivers for 10 bucks, store them in the radio memory, and use them in all your RC cars/boats. I'll be buying some for my other cars so I can use this radio for all of them.Admittedly, this radio has a lot of features I will likely never use. I was in the market for a low-cost radio (and receiver) and this fit the bill nicely. I'm not a pro-driver (or even a really good one) to need a $400 radio, but a $50 radio that I can use to control multiple cars is easy to swallow. The radio feels good in my hand. It comes with a "small" and "large" grip that are interchangeable to fit your hand, but I honestly couldn't tell any difference between the two. The steering and throttle are nice, smooth, and precise. Well, "precise" is a relative term for me since I'm sure the car is going exactly where the radio is telling it to go--which may not be where I'd like it to go!Anyway, if you're looking for a low-cost radio with a lot of options, this will fit the bill nicely.

This radio is full featured; 3 channel, expo, dual rates, multi-model memory. The ergonomics are great, it feels good in the hand and has a second sized back grip to fit a wider range of hands comfortably. One of the best parts is that FlySky receivers are very reasonably priced. Many of the other inexpensive brands in this price range have higher priced receivers. If you have more than a couple vehicles you could easily end up paying much more in the long run for the "cheaper" transmitter brand. It Includes a rechargeable battery (LiPo) as well so you save on the weight and expense of using alkalines.

Great range, awesome product. It does take some time getting used to the functions and how to change everything. If you have one or you have many RC vehicles this controller can do them all as long as it has the same receiver. I have owned many remotes and this one feels very well made and the colors are sick. I use this manly for my RC boat, the range is great on this I have had no problems what so ever. Also has a fail safe if it gets out of range it will cut off not open the throttle.LCD is good in both low light and bright light. Also comes with more controller handle stocks.
