Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter.
In this case "stop-down mode" will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body.
"AF Confirm" doesn't means you can use Auto Focus function, it means that it will automatically occur a "beep" sound as an indication while you using MF.

Look it works in the sense that it will in fact adapt an SR mount lens to EF but it absolutely doesn't focus to infinity which is contrary to the description for this item. You can use aperture priority mode but again it makes your camera very short range. I knew it when I bought it. A glassless Minolta to EF adapter will NEVER focus to infinity.

With this MD mount lens on an EF mount camera, it cannot focus. I should have read other reviews before buying this. There is another adapter with a lens included. Get that one if you want to make an MD lens work on an EF mount camera.

This product description explicitly says that this adapter will focus to infinity. It does not. It is a macro adapter and can only focus close up. Very frustrating.

Macro adapter seems sturdy and well made. Strangely it doesn't fit all my Minolta lenses as do other MD to EOS adapters I have. It seems to be an issue of lens quality variations with the thickness of the lens mount itself and with the adapter being just a little bit less flexible than the others I have. The focus confirmation is also different in that it allows in camera adjustment of aperture readings which messes with the aperture priority settings resulting in over exposure so one needs to be sure to set it at f1.4 with the cameras controls before setting the aperture on the lens itself. No problem since this is for manual focus lenses. Makes a nice sturdy fit with no wobble.

Add states "Adapter for Minolta MD MC Lens to Canon EOS EF EF-S Mount". does not fit Minolta MC lens mount. Does fit my Canon EF-S Camera mount. The build quality looks good it just doesn't fit the lens they stated it would.
