I love these socks. They are a great complement to winter boots. They are also comfortable enough to lounge in after work day. I have 4 pairs and love them.

Disappointed for men’s socks these didn’t get over the leg calf. Fit is for very narrow skinny legs.

At some point socks become desirable as you get older. These socks are great! Comfortable and great quality. Very good with hikers or boots and keeps my feet dry since they are wool.

I have bought socks from her before and decided to try this kind as it was a bit cheaper. Maybe i should have read details more. They don't have the same stretch in the legs and are very tight.

The colour description is "black", which is often not a true guide to the actual colour. In this instance, it's no guide at all, because both socks are a mid-grey, and certainly not coloured like the images! The grey socks are fine, comfortable and reasonably warm, and definitely long.Edit: I have just received an email from Amazon, with these socks as a suggestion. I note that the incorrect item illustration has not been corrected. For once one of Amazon's suggestions took me to the Australian site rather than the US site, where the shipping is much higher and indeed many items can't be found on the Au site anyway.

These were nice quality socks but a bit too thick for my ski boots. I'll use them for something other than skiing.

These are the best thermal socks I have found. I bought this before last winter. I wore those 2 pairs all winter along with Fox River liners. They keep my feet toasty warm, are extremely comfortable, and really last. I still have the original 2 pairs and bought 4 more with liners to accompany them this winter. I wear them almost every day all winter long whether I'm in my Abedo shoes for work or my muck boots around the house.

En época de frío estos calcetines de lana son muy buenos. Los compre para mi madre ya que las calcetas tradicionales son muy delgadas y no cubren del frío.

These socks are not over-the-calf. The only come up to me my mid calf. I have a size 15B foot. However I decided to keep them because of the thickness and warmth.
