I recently purchased the Indoor Fruit Fly Trap that boasts a combination of suction, time setting, bug light, and sticky glue boards, and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance. If you’re dealing with pesky flies or fruit flies in your home, this product might just be the solution you’ve been looking for.The trap features a sleek and modern design, fitting seamlessly into any indoor setting. Its white finish allows it to blend in with various decors while being unobtrusive. The compact size means it doesn’t take up much space, making it ideal for kitchens, dining rooms, or wherever you typically find fruit flies buzzing around. I also found a few mosquitoes, which was awesome as I wasn't expecting them to be out yet.One of the standout features of this trap is its combination of an effective suction mechanism paired with a bug light. The light attracts flies, while the suction pulls them in, ensuring they don’t have a chance to escape. The inclusion of 10 sticky glue boards is an excellent addition. These boards are easy to replace and effectively capture any flies that come in contact. Maintenance is a breeze. The sticky boards are easily replaceable, and cleaning the unit is straightforward. Just a quick wipe-down and a new board, and it's ready to go again. The design makes it easy to monitor how many flies have been caught, providing a clear visual indication of its effectiveness. I would highly recommend giving this a try. So far the results are impressive.

Not too sure how i feel about this yet, i do not have an infestation but ive had a bit of knats these past 2 weeks so i got this to try, its cute and blends in and dont look out of place, it clearly catches knats but im concerned about the suction, u can barely feel the suction at all so i may have a defective one but it still got a few knats in thr 2 nights i let it run, but i didnt hsve alot to catch so i cant say it dont work since it actually caught the ones in my kitchen and now i dont see anymore. But if and when i get a bad infestation we will see how it truly holds up lol, i love how simple it is to use and if u only want to use at night it has 3 options, 1 is consistent running, 2 6hr time 3 is a 12 hr timer which i like, and auper easy to clean as u only throw away the sticky disk and put ina new one..super simple, the air its sucks in u can feel blow out where the screen is around the bottom

I decided to try out one of those electronic fruit fly traps recently, mainly to deal with the little gnats that seem to gravitate towards my indoor plants. After using it for a few nights, I'm pretty pleased with the results. The setup is genuinely simple: plug it in, pull the protective film off a sticky pad, and slide it in. It came with a good supply of pads. I've been running it primarily at night, just before heading to bed. This seems to be the sweet spot, as the insects are more active then, and with the house lights off, the trap's UV light is the main attraction. By morning, there's always a noticeable collection of tiny flying things on the sticky pad, and the overall number of these pests around the house has definitely gone down. It's a quiet little unit. You really have to listen closely to even hear the faint hum of the fan. Design-wise, it's fairly unassuming; it sits next to my plants without drawing any undue attention. There are options for continuous running or timed cycles (6 or 12 hours), but the nightly routine has worked best for me.They claim it's non-toxic and safe around kids and pets, which was a selling point. The only real caution is not to stare directly at the UV light, but since I run it at night and it's out of the way, that's not an issue. When it's time to replace the pad, it's just a quick swap-out from the bottom tray. For what it is, it's been a surprisingly effective and low-maintenance solution for a common household nuisance.

I live in an older home (80's) with septic system instead of city sewer, there always seem to be a lot of gnats in the kitchen. I have a couple of dynatraps in the house and they work quite well for house flies (the big black bottle flies), mosquitos and some other small flying things. My sink is quite a few feet away from those traps so I got this for more sink coverage since I seem to have what most folks call drain gnats coming out of the kitchen sink drains. Not much setup here, it runs on 5 volts under one amp draw so just about any usb adapter you have for any device will run this if you need to but there is an adapter included in the box and a pack of ten sticky pads and a usb A to micro usb cable (which could be longer honestly. If you need a longer one any usb A to usb micro cable "should" work to power this). I suppose in a pinch you could even run this off a usb battery pack if you don't have a nearby outlet. Setup is nothing, peel the paper off the sticky pad place it sticky side up in the bottom tray, plug the cable into the back and the usb A end into the wall adapter, turn it on using the switch on top. The switch has several positions including 6 hour, 12 hour, continuous and of course off. I don't really think the fan suction is particularly strong but it's apparently enough for the tiny sewer gnats I'm battling. Kind of wondering if a stronger fan might be needed to catch the larger bottle flies more effectively. The unit is supposed to have a UV light to attract insects, first of all not all flying insects are attracted to UV so depending on what's flying around in the area don't necessarily expect tremendous results. Secondly, most regular UV bulbs do not last more than a couple of months before they have to be replaced because they no longer emit UV (they still light up but UV is not visible to the human eye unaided)...i.e. the ones on this are not replaceable so I have serious doubts about UV spectrum light being emitted for long term anyhow. I tried to google how long UV emitting LED's should last and depending on UV type A or B google said up to twenty thousand hours which is tremendously better than a fluorescent or incandescent bulb so if this is true then this thing should be able to make at least one of the UV lighting types for several years continuously. There are instruments that can measure UV but they are expensive. If you know anyone with a reptile hobby they may have one or know somebody that does if they keep iguanas or bearded dragons etc. NOTE: As far as I can tell this is a Real UV LED bulb setup they have lasted continuously for over six months and not burnt out. The unit is expensive but when you add up new bulbs every few months the larger initial outlay is worth it.I plugged it in and put it on continuous next to the sink. Just a few hours later I checked the sticky pad and there were probably about thirty of the little drain gnats stuck to it so it would appear to be working and just like most products like it, it works better when it's the only light in the area so turn off the other lights wherever you have this placed. You can hear the fan when you get close to it but it's by no means loud. Apparently my gnat situation has a life cycle where a lot of them get born all at once, one day I checked the sticky pad and it was positively black with little gnat bodies so this is definitely something you want to run constantly if you can. My kitchen is dim anyhow with the lights off but the trap works better when it's the brightest light source in the area.Update: 6-2025 been using this 24/7 since purchased in 2024 and it continues to catch LOTS of the smaller drain gnats that it was bought to handle, get a few bottle flies (the big black picnic table scourges) but it seems to work best on fliers that are smaller than the bottle flies that I also am plagued with. It's difficult to find a unit with UV LED lamps on it, I bought another product that claimed to have UV lamps but I always suspected that was not true and now that the bulb has quit it appears they've removed anything on their product page that might make you believe they have LED UV bulbs in their product....a UV led bulb of any type will appear to have pinpoints of light in the tube as those are the LED's emitting the light so if your tube doesn't look like that I can assure you it's probably fluorescent not LED. I have moved this into my bedroom where the larger bottle flies are an issue, no clue where they're getting in the house but they like my bedroom as much as the trash can for whatever reason, if this works in the bedroom I will be buying another one for the kitchen because I'm tired of buying new bulbs all the time for my flourescent light product that also blocks my outlets to use it. This thing I plug into the usb ports on my extension cord as it provides USB A plugs and this thing doesn't draw over an Amp. It's also nice to be able to replace the rather short cable they give you with a much longer one if you need it. Would rather have usb c than micro USB but it works.
