I love my Ronin, but I have a few gripes about the NATO side mounts that are fixed either side of the grip handle. They are great for adding on a few accessories, but because it usually only takes a particular clamp, you can't really use it for anything else without it building out too far either side, making it more cumbersome to handle. These plates solve that. Not only do they fix firmly to the Nato rail attachment, they are relatively low profile, so whatever you screw to them doesn't stick out way too far. Furthermore, although there are similar mounting plates out there, none of them offer the variety of mounting positions/holes to screw or clamp accessories to. A really well though out set of plates that will come in useful for anyone using a Ronin gimbal. Highly recommended.

There’s not a lot to say here, these plates are what the seller says they are, although I’m not clear what about them is “quick release,” other than attaching or removing something from the cold shoe mount.Like the seller says, they’re aluminum, and although not explicitly stated, they fit my Ronin RS4 gimbal. Besides the cold shoe adapter, they each have a couple of 3/8” threaded holes and seven 1/4" threads. One of the 3/8” threads include holes for Arri locating pins. Basically, they’re little cheese plates.They are what they are; a handy little accessory to have on hand should the occasion arise when a little extra real estate is needed for a light, microphone or monitor.Each plate is supplied with two mounting screws, a 3/8” to 1/4" threaded adapter, and the necessary allen key for mounting it.
