I have tried several hip thrust 'belts' and this is among the best! This is an awesome value for a very quality product. It shipped and arrived quickly and was packaged nicely. A slight smell upon opening but it didn't bother me. The velcro and straps are really solid and the body of the belt is thick and great quality. Some people comment that it doesn't wrap around the body but none of this type of equipment does. It wouldn't make sense too; you lay it across your lap and the weight that you load secures it to your body. I use this for hip thrusts on a weight bench, loaded with dumbbells weighted 50-70lbs each so I can't speak to other uses. The one thing that sets this apart from other 'belts' is that it has 2 straps on each side, which really secures the dumbbells, preventing them from sagging on one side, which can be a HUGE issue with other belts. This is a great product and I have already recommended it!

I wanted to like this, and it's probably great for some, but it is not for me. So 2 stars because I wanted to give it 1 but gave it a second for others possible use. Please read- this is important if you are small or small framed, this is likely too wide/large for you.Background. I am 5'2, weigh 130 lbs- a little too much fat on my midsection (hips, butt, thighs) at the moment but I also have some good strength as well. In order for me to use this with 15 lb weights, I have to pull the whole thing open- first one side, then the other to access that side. Put one weight in, close that side, then put the other weight in, close that side. (one side entirely overlaps the other so it has to move to gain access to the other. Good grief, good thing I'm not in a hurry. Then I lay flat with it across my hips and thrust. Well, crap, it's too large that it only bring the weight off the ground a smidge. So again I have to pretty much disassemble the whole dumb thing to try to adjust it, which is limited and by the time I max it out (or is it minimize it out??) it's still too large for my body to make it worthwhile. The next big issue I have with it is that in order to use my dumbbells for anything else but this, it's a big stinking to-do to put them in this and take them back out every time- what a pain! And time consuming. Look, when I have nothing better to do, sure, fine. But I have plenty to do that I'm not sitting around all day just to fiddle with this stupid thing.

This was a great addition to my home workout routine. Since covid, I have been creating my own home gym. This Hip Thruster is made from top quality materials. The leather is of top quality and the velcro is as strong as velcro can get. I think that the odor coming from the newer thrusters is that leathery smell from the dyes they use on leather. To me, I love the smell, so it is not offensive whatsoever. It does settle down rather quickly. The design of this thruster is functional as well as safe. I don’t understand the reason that companies are not including instructions on how to use their products. The only reason I know how to use this is because my gym had one that I used constantly. If a company assumes that everybody is going to know how to use this thruster, they are sadly mistaken. Also, I cannot give a 5 star rating on a product that does not come with some type of effort in educating the consumer how to use their product in a safe manor. Period. Yet overall, if you know how house this Hip Thruster, I highly recommend it.

I just started doing hip thrusts at the gym a few months ago, and I was having problems using a standard bar with plates. It was always awkward getting into position, having to find the bar pads, and balancing the bar throughout the movements. This little belt has solved all those problems and made doing hip thrusts so much easier and pain-free as you have a steel bar across your pelvis. I’m able to attach either dumbbells or kettlebells easily and I’m much more stable, since I don’t have to hold on to the bar to keep it balanced place. It’s such a simple design with double Velcro loops, but because the Velcro is the width of the belt in both direction, it’s very secure and once in place your weights aren’t going to slip out of the straps. The only thing that was a bit annoying is that it smelled of rubber or plastic or something for a couple days, but it’s gone now and I really love this thing. Highly recommended!

The belt is a nice accessory to have in smaller gyms with limited space as it only requires dumbbells. I imagine it's also nice for those who don't want to use smith machines or set up hip thrusts on a free barbell. The weight is nicely distributed across the belt as it is wide and doesn't put excess pressure on any part of the hip. The straps hold the dumbells securely. However, the velcro strap does extend across the entire length which can be tedious to undo/redo when switching weights.

Works exactly as I had hoped. I wanted to add weight to my glute bridges and hip thrusts but don't find it comfortable to set the weights on me directly so this has solved that problem. My dumbbells easily attach and this is easy to use. Great for my home gym (read - tiny area of my bedroom).

These have upped my home gym. I have seen a lot of videos on social media on how this can help build your core and booty. I took the plunge and I'm happy with this hip belt.Velcro is super secure. My highest set of dumbbells is only 12lbs, and it holds that effortlessly.Band is wide enough to not dig in with weight on it.

I got this to add more weight to some of my exercises like glute bridges. I workout from home and only have a limited amount of weights until I add more to my collection. This allows me to add on extra weight for a few exercises. I love using this for glute bridges. So much easier to use this instead of just having the dumbbell sit there.
