Junipers generally have a naturally flowing or "cascading" shape of long, trailing branches, and can be trained into many amazing Bonsai shapes. The branches usually respond well to wiring and reshaping. As an indoor bonsai, the Japanese Juniper should be in a very bright, but cool location. A south, west or east window is ideal. For best growth temperatures should not exceed 70 degrees Fahrenheit for an extended period of time. 60 to 70 degrees is ideal. If the air is dry in your home grow the bonsai on a humidity tray or mist once or twice daily. The plant itself should be kept evenly moist, but not wet or dry. Starter plant 1 - 2 years old.

It's so tiny. I like him dont worry but he's gonna need to grow a lil more before I do anything.

Down south, we like to say that "porch" is a verb - as in "Let's do some porchin'. " During the long months of hot summer days, my wife and I love to sit on our front porch at sunrise, sipping coffee during the coolest part of the day, surrounded by our many potted plants and front yard pollinator garden. We now have a lovely Japanese Juniper Bonsai tree as part of our menagerie.
