Don’t know what is that brown spot behind the leaf when I got them. put in the fish tank anyway hope will grow well. Condition of the plant is not what I expected

These plants arrived very healthy and my betta fish loves them! It was a very cold day when they arrived but I made sure to monitor my mail so they wouldnt be out long. I would be concerned if it were a hot summer day as there didnt seem to be much moisture in the plant bags but since i was monitoring my mail, it wasnt a big deal. The sizing was as advertised with the Fern being larger than the anubia. Both plants were clean, green and healthy with good root system. I was concerned about possible hitchhikers (snails) but I didnt see any indication of any. They've been in my tank a few weeks now and are looking so beautiful and might have grown slightly. My betta loves resting on the java fern leaves. I'm fixin to get him a bigger tank so may be ordering more.

arrived sooner than expected :) i was unsure about ordering live plants off of amazon but they look good out of the box! just had some short roots. i’ll update if they don’t do well.
