Attaching the adapter was variable. Easier on my old zoom lens (a nice satisfying click) and difficult on the 50 mm (just have to tighten down). Setting up the accepting camera (Olympus E-PL5) is a nightmare. The 50mm is ok, but probably not as good as the native Olympus lens. The 70-210 zoom lens pictures are ok in brighter light. In any less, focus is pretty bad. Admittedly, the Olympus is it's own ongoing nightmare with hideous menu UI, but that's a different issue. Maybe fiddling with that more will help.I was hoping I could repurpose those two of my old lenses, especially the old Canon FD zoom-macro. Maybe if I dig into the nightmare Olympus menu options more I will change my opinion. But so far, it's less than a stellar experience and feels very restrictive. On the other hand, it's not an expensive piece and it does allow the nostalgia of using those old lenses once in a while just for fun. Man, they are heavy though!

I have a bunch of this type of adapter. -Mostly converting to the Sony e-mount system, but I picked up this one (for a Panasonic Micro 4/3) and it is just as good. What a way to very affordably expand your collection of prime lenses! -Old Canon FD glass is all over eBay, all for around $50 to $80. (A year ago, it was even cheaper.)I figured, "Why mess around with $1000 modern lenses? For a third of that cost I can get a collection of excellent primes." For a multi-camera studio setting where auto-focus is more an annoyance than a benefit, this has been a really rewarding option. These adapters make that possible. I find it amusing to think that none of my old primes were ever intended for videography, but here they are!Anyway, they work without flaw, are well-constructed and offer a tight fit, but as others have mentioned, they can be a bit fiddly to sort out how to make them function correctly with the F-Stop ring. (You have to install it in the "Open" and not the "Locked" position.)

Well there is no AF but I still have it five stars. Quality feels great and having FD lenses on my BMPCC4K is awesome. Highly recommended!

Great product. Only thing I find a little less than perfect is the way it attaches to the camera. There is no positive catch or click when you wind the ring around. I worry that I might attach a lens and not have it firmly attached. Well made and robust product. Still assessing the ability to focus properly but for now looks good with both a prime and telephoto lens.
