I’m using this to drive some grow LED strips on an aquatic plants system, and so far so good. I’m not using anywhere near the rated 60W capacity and it’s running significantly warmer than some other 60W LED drivers I’ve used on the same setup, but not worryingly so. It is delivering sufficient power for the job. I haven’t measure the true output, but the LEDs are working well and things are growing, so I have no complaints. The ends seem to be both screwed and glued on, though I can’t directly vouch for its waterproofness. It doesn’t have any actual safety certifications, so you’re kind of on your own for making sure it doesn’t lead to sadness. This is a common problem with cheap LED drivers, and I’ll probably end up replacing it soon with one that’s more safety-focused. There’s also no FCC certification for electrical interference, but I haven’t seen any evidence it’s causing problems.

I needed this to run a section of low-voltage landscape lighting in our front yard. I was trying to come up with a slick solution that would make it so I could operate the landscape lighting with other 120V lighting along the drive. This did the trick.I added a receptacle internal to one of the pier lights. All of the exterior lighting is controlled by an astronomic timer and relays so they all come on at the same time. I was able to mount this little transformer inside the pier and plug into the receptacle for power to the landscape lighting. Now they all come on together. Easy! The transformer works great. No problems with the install or with the way it operates. It's an excellent value!I wholeheartedly recommend this low voltage transformer. My review is honest -- I really can't find anything negative to say. Great seller, outstanding product, and lightning fast shipping from Amazon. Order with confidence!

This JOTEC LED Driver is exactly what I needed for my outdoor lighting project. It’s well-built, truly waterproof (IP67), and easy to set up thanks to the long 3-prong plug cable. It powers my 12V LED lights consistently without overheating or flickering. Perfect for outdoor lights, DIY projects, or anything that needs steady 12V DC power. Very happy with the quality and performance — would definitely recommend!

When it comes to LED lighting, a solid transformer is a must. Especially if you're using any of the modern LEDs that support dimming or color temp changes. You want the transformer to work quietly, at temperature, and without stepping on the dimmer. This little guy worked great in my tests. I popped it up on my work bench, and connected to an array of hardscape lighting that we're about to install in the back yard. It lit them all as expected, and did not flicker or flash when dimming the LEDs. Also color changes or color temp. changes were smooth and exactly as expected. It's a small device and looks only to be rated for indoor use, but this is perfect if you have some under counter lighting or built-in shelf lighting that you're installing. I'm very impressed!

A few years ago I installed LED lighting strips above and beneath the cabinets in my kitchen. The light strips were powered by three transformers, but one of those three recently failed. I replaced the failed one with this JOTEC Transformer. Connecting it to the existing strips was simple. I have noticed that the strips on this JOTEC transformer are brighter now than they had been when powered by the old unit. There was a warning about the transformer getting hot, but I checked it a couple hours after installation, and it was only warm. Recommended.I’ll update this review if this new unit fails before the old ones.

This is a convenient transformer for using your (US) home's power to run 12-volt fixtures. The awesome part is that it's sealed. That opens up so many places it can go. It's rated for exposure to rain and snow, but it's wise to mount this with an overhang. This can power small pumps for fountains or bird baths, but it's recommended not to use a power supply's total capacity. Mash the amps and volts together, and you've got 60 watts. Halve that for safety, and there is not much for outdoor main lighting. However, 30 watts is perfect for any intermittent lighting. This box's sweet spot is from the dripping ice-sickles to WLED running detailed patterns on addressable strips. I'm using it semi-permanently for rotating seasonal displays in my yard. It works great for blinky lights and is a good value, especially considering the high environmental rating.

This waterproof exterior voltage converter gets 5 out of 5 stars. It was only $18, which is a great price for something that reliably converts AC to DC for outdoor LED lighting. One of the features I really appreciate is that it already comes with a three-prong plug pre-wired. Most of these types of converters require you to wire in both ends yourself, so having a plug-and-play input saves a lot of time.On the output side, it’s standard—you’ll still need to wire in the connector you want. In my case, I added a waterproof two-prong connection for my outdoor LED lights. It’s straightforward and worked exactly as intended.Overall, it’s a well-priced, no-fuss converter with a useful pre-wired feature that adds a lot of convenience. Highly recommend.

We got this power supply to add some underwater lights in our koi pond. This power supply seems to be well made and has a durable aluminum case with cooling fins in the case to help keep the power supply within operating temp range.I'm working to get this in place near a power pedestal and deploy the new underwater lights, and I'll post photos and an update on the power supply unit's functionality soon.
