Great glass and a simple scope to mount , the 50 mm will gather lots of light in the evening. Wouldn’t buy another scope besides this one.

I bought this scope for shooting off the bench at targets from 35 yards to 100 yards for my Kidd 22lr rifle. It does not disappoint. The red dot is very useful on cloudy days or closer to dark even though it's clear to see anytime of the day. The zoom effect is very clear and always seems to have a full picture after adjusting the diopter. I ordered a new CDS dial from Leupold and am waiting for it to come back. This is a light weight scope and you can't tell it's even mounted on your gun. All in all I am very pleased with everything about this scope and it's excellent warranty. Will be buying more Leupold scopes in the future.

This optic has great clarity, with absolutely no distortion around the edges, and it has very generous eye relief. I found myself very comfortable using the optic with both eyes open at any magnification. The construction is solid, with the turrets being very sturdy, and there being no play in any of the adjustments.

My old scope was a Leopold Vari-X III, 2-8x36mm. I've been using it a long time but the deer are coming out later or when it's overcast and it has been just too dark to see well enough to shoot, or to late. The change to a 50mm objective has been like turning on the lights. I haven't had a chance to try the Fire Dot in the field yet but it's been fun to play with. The 10 power is a small problem. The deer look 25% bigger than I'm used to.

I just bought a new 6.5 Creedmore rifle and knew I wanted a Leupold mounted on it. I currently have four of them. You cannot beat the performance of a Leupold. Don’t settle for any other brand.
