I ran with the Smallrig C70 Portable Kit for over a year, but became increasingly concerned with the HDMI cable getting knocked and damaging the port. I found this Nitze cage that came equipped with a cable clamp, so gave it a shot and I'm thoroughly impressed - especially for the price. It's not a perfect cage, but it doesn't have to be. This Nitze cage gives me plenty of mounting options, including ARRI locating pins to keep everything tight & secure. I also LOVE the side grip strap on the C70, so I was ecstatic to be able to attach the strap to this cage. 10/10 value.

After a LOT of research into cages for my C70, I decided on this one.Pros:- It is really comfortable to hold thanks to the contoured side.- Very stable thanks to its 2 bottom attachment screws.- Extra useful due to the magnetically attached screwdriver (no more needing to fish in my pocket for a coin!!)- Speedbooster stabilizer is easily removable when not needed.- Excellent price.What could be better:- Not much of note really- Would be good if a side screw was attached for 100% no movement, but really this isn't an issue in use.- A quick release side hand strap system! (I haven't seen anyone do this, but it'd be super handy for quickly moving between handheld and gimbal)

Das Cage habe ich in erster Linie gekauft, um mehr Möglichkeiten zu haben, weiteres Zubehör an meine C70 zu montieren. Auch wenn es nicht das dünnste und leichteste Cage ist, finde ich das super gelungen. Es passt alles, wackelt nichts und man kann Sachen wie Video-Funkstrecke etc. ohne Probleme an die Kamera dran machen. Viel besser als der halbe Cage von Smallrig. Bei meiner Bestellung war die HDMI-Kabelklemme nicht dabei, was mich verärgert hat, aber der Nitze-Support hat sich super schnell und kompetent darum gekümmert, dass das fehlende Teil nachgeliefert wird. Bin super zufrieden mit dem Kauf.

Preso x la mia nuova C70. Utile x proteggere e i vari collegamenti. Comodo il fermacavo hdmi, e il cacciavite magnetico. Ci ho collegato anche un monitor da 5.7". Una nota più x la camera...Quando collego molta roba alla camera, si crea confusione tra i tappi di plastica e il cage. Per uso prolungato conviene rimuovere i tappini di plastica dalla camera.

I absolutely love this cage. It is really well built and adds a ton of mounting points. It fit perfect without adding bulk to my setup. Definitely much more comfortable setting my rig down as this adds a lot of armour.
