One came pre-tangled. The other one flew apart the second my kite got airborne. Not after an hour. Not after 10 minutes. The moment there was any force on it the handle popped off and the spindle snapped.

The crank is very small and comes loose while cranking if the kite has any pull too it.This winder would be best used on small poly or plastic kites .
