Kit has all grade 8 hardware, in a great case to keep it all organized. All bolts are flanged which is a plus. Can't ask for more with this price. Make sure to lube the main bolt when using this to make it last longer and don't use an impact

I've got more than a few OTC tools and kits and this latest one didn't disappoint. I've had my '98 Jeep TJ for more than 20 years and a few weeks ago the crankshaft pulley/harmonic damper came apart after 22 years of service. I ordered a new MOPAR damper from Rockauto and this kit from Amazon. I probably could have used the 5/16-18 bolts in the kit but they were needlessly long for this pulley so I bought three 2" long grade 8 5/16-18 bolts which were about $1.50 each. I have an electric fan in my Jeep so removed it to get more room. I also have an aftermarket all metal three-row radiator which didn't need to come out in order to get the pulley off.It took less than 10 minutes to get the puller set up, remove the failed pulley/damper and install the new one. For me, OTC is a good compromise between quality and cost for the home mechanic. I can't justify buying Snap-on tools that I might only use ten times in my lifetime but I'm ok paying for OTC which always seem to get the job done. In addition, I don't mind lending OTC tools to friends and coworkers but if I had Snap-on tools I would probably would less inclined to do so.I have a 2002 F250 7.3L truck and need to pull off the steering wheel to send it out to be refurbished. I also need to pull off the Jeep steering wheel to replace the broken clock spring so this kit will be getting plenty of use.

I have used this tool numerous times. It works every time. I looked at a Snap On version but couldn’t afford it. Yes, I’m a Snap On snob but I do approve of this tool for heavy automotive service at a shop.

This is the best puller set on the market!!! The main puller is slightly larger than all other pullers on the market. This is a huge deal!! On all the newer GM trucks if you do any rear end work, you'll need this to pull the pinion flange. Snap on trucks is too small

It's a great kit BUT one bolt didn't have the threads tapped on it

I love this kit. I am a Diesel Technician and have used this kit on various things. It has held up well. Even the guys I work with wonder where I bought it from. Great price. It has already paid for itself.
