  • Patented Reverse Brake Bleeding removes more trapped air than any other brake bleeder by simply pushing Brake Fluid fluid from the bottom up.
  • Reverse brake bleeding is the only method capable of bleeding tough ABS units without a scan tool.
  • Allows you to refill and bleed a completely dry brake or clutch system. Perform Reverse, Vacuum, Pressure and Bench brake and clutch bleeding all with the same tool.
  • The V-5 is considered a Light Duty brake bleeder tool for intermittent use. Compatible with DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 brake fluid. (most vehicles use DOT 3 or 4).
  • Is the easiest one-person brake and clutch bleeder you will ever use. No more asking your family or friends to help you finish a brake job.

If you do mechanic work, you probably already know something about pressure, vacuum and reverse bleeding brakes. And one thing you’ve definitely learned over the years is that brake and clutch bleeding can be a cumbersome and time-consuming process – particularly for EV electric vehicles, hybrids, ATV's, trucks, cars, trailers, motorcycles and especially for ABS Anti-Lock Brake Systems'. Which is why you may be surprised to find out there’s a tool that can make bleeding brakes fast and easy – and oh, we should also mention: extremely simple. It’s called the Phoenix V-5 Light Duty DIY Reverse Brake Bleeder, and we’re certain it’ll change the way you think about brake bleeding. With the Phoenix V-5, one parson can bleed the brakes on any vehicle in 10 minutes or less – even if it’s a tough ABS job (you won’t need a scan tool or special clips). Tip: Our Patented Reverse Bleed Technology is what makes this tool so unique. The Phoenix V-5 Reverse Brake Bleeder is a revolutionary tool based on an incredibly obvious concept: Air wants to go up. That’s it. Traditional brake bleeding tools and techniques fight this principle. At Phoenix, we harness it, so you can quickly remove all the air from the whole braking system. Reverse bleeding: It’s an idea so simply and obviously right that most people ask, Why didn’t anyone think of that before?

Used to bleed the newly installed hydraulic clutch on my jeep wrangler. Initially I was skeptical as it was getting a lot of leaking at the bleed port, however to my surprise the reservoir filled up and job was finished in like 5 mins. Super easy to use, no pumping and holding the clutch pedal in. True one man job. Extremely satisfied and glad I purchased before even attempting to bleed it any other way.

This does not work well, I think I pumped more air into my system with it than what I was getting out. It did work ok for flushing the old oil out and replacing with new oil, just had to bleed it conventionally after to get all the air out

I ordered this system to reverse bleed an airplane brake system. I was a bit too aggressive and broke the spring mechanism. Phoenix was quick to respond and over-nighted a replacement. Great way to treat customers. Thanks!!

Parts were missing, the listed "5 pack of test strips" was not in the case, even tho it is listed on the sticker on the outside of the case.

Decent bleed job was achieved with item but it leaks at the rubber connector that seals on the bleeder screw when reverse bleeding (applying pressure into caliper, pushing fluid up into master cylinder). Would recommend for a one man bleeder though
