This is definitely a specialty tool. But it's one that's incredibly handy when you need it. I wouldn't say that the build quality is exceptional, but it's not bad either.

I will state i'm not a plumber, i just like tools. Ad for a non-plumber, i thought this looked a very interesting wrench. I guess it's one of things my Dad used to do, gifting unique tools. And yeah, i may use this for it's intended purpose, but i did have a chance to use it recently and like the way it gripped.I could just use an open end wrench, but i like this one better

This set of tools is comprised of (1) a 4-way sillcock key (note the "sockets" are in mm, not fractional inches, and the 6 mm square socket is too small to drive a 1/4" stem, and the 8 mm square socket will drive a 5/16" stem); (2) an angle stop wrench with 1/2" and 3/8" ends (works great when installing/remove angle stop valves in tight spaces for extra leverage); (3) a thin wrench with locking ends (not sure I would use this, as my home has copper pipes and when removing angle stop valves, I'd just use a wrench on the 5/8-Inch OD inlet compression nut). Surprisingly, all tools have a black finish. Machining looks good, no rough surfaces or edges, the threads on the angle stop wrench look smooth.

I got these when I saw them on vine because a few weeks ago they would have been handy to have when I swapped out my tub faucet. I made do with what I had on hand at the time but having the right tool for the job (these ones!) would have made the project so much easier and faster. These are some of those specialty tools that when you need them are really handy to have in the toolbox even if you only use them once in awhile. I know I've got some other plumbing projects to do soon and now I have the right tools for the jobs. These seem pretty well made and they have some weight to them - they aren't cheap "pop metal" as my late husband would have called it. The little 4-way is handy for multiple types of valves too. Overall a handy little set to have around.

We are working on remodeling our basement which includes a bathroom. This little tool will come in handy when we have to remove the toilet and shut off valve to add wainscoting to the walls. The tools feel nice, sturdy and well made. I like how it has different sizes for difference sized plumbing. I think this tool will be less likely to scratch my shutoff valve based on how it's made. Will update once we remove the toilet.
