If you want a little light available that doesn't really on having a good battery here's the answer. Drop a tea light candle in this and you have a perfect little emergency light. It is a little awkward to light though.

I purchased this from another site but is exactly the same item. It is lightweight and everything fits together nicely. To insert the tea candle and to light it all you need to do is remove the top, lift the glass high enough to be able to put the candle in and then light it. Let the glass down, fasten the lid on, and you are good to go. Given that you are using a tealight this isn't going to flood the area with light but for nice ambience or a soft light while camping that isn't based on batteries I highly recommend this lantern.
