awesome hydrant wrench.. a third of the price you will pay for the same thing at a supply house and works great.. Tools like this are the ones not worth buying the expensive brand name one, because something like this works so much better.plz use this over a pipe wrench! youll save yourself a little time and wont scratch up a brand new hydrant (just my two cents)

It perfectly when opening and closing the hydrant. That's the only functional part though. The hook to tighten the fittings is to round and won't start engaged.
