this is a replacement valve, they do wear out, but we have been using the for 19 years, so I guess that is a good valve. Keep up the good work

Inherited an irrigation system with the house and zone 2 failed. After identifying the unit determined it was the solenoid.Purchased this OEM unit and removed the new diaphragm cover, solenoid, and diaphragm and installed the old valve body so I didn't have to install the new body saving much time. Easy fit and replacement.Finding this "Hidden" valve was accomplished by using the Cat-R-Box sold on Amazon.

Ordered two. One is missing the onoff handle that slips over solenoid. Guess ill have to live with it, don't have time to send it back.

I have now used two of these valves to replace malfunctioning older valves of the same make. I reused the old valve bodies, so no plumbing work was necessary. The upper part of the new valve fit perfectly on the old base.
