Consistent tight fit necessary so that the fitting will not pop off whist in use.Use a small tip plier to hold in place whilst shoving the emitter tube over the endEasy gauge to estimate quantity needed is one per plant drip line.

Thought this was going to be a trash product but figured I’d try. They actually work and were not that difficult to insert! So glad I found these. No more leaks with my drip system

I purchased these stoppers thinking they would stop leaks from the main irrigation line. But the stopper is not large enough to completely fill the hole where the dripper line was originally installed. After installing the stopper, the leak continued to waste water, albeit significantly reduced. I ended up cutting the main irrigation line and installing a coupling. Problem resolved. I think these stoppers might be useful in capping off the bubblers and leaving the dripper line in place.

Just the thing to fix smaller holes in your drip system. If your system is really old, be aware that the tubing my be stiff or brittle, and the plugs might not seat as well, but in many situations you can put on of these in to a drip tube and seal it up, or even repair a hole where a drip feeder has been removed from the main tubing.In some cases, these simply won't work and you may instead have to cut the bad part out of the main tube and re-attach the pieces with a simple adapter.As some reviewers have noted, it is tough to get a grip on these--I hold them with a small pair of channel locks and that works great.

These plugs are dirt cheap (no pun) and work perfectly! I had my doubts that they would seal, but I had no issues with leaking. I figured if they did drip or leak, it would be no big deal. But I didn't have to deal with this issue. The plugs gave me the confidence to puncture holes where I initially thought I needed to with no fear of making a mistake. Simple, great little plugs!
