The fireplace itself puts out plenty heat, is very pretty with all color changes however no instruction manual comes with it and the teeny remote control that does a zillion things is difficult to figure out: for some reason we have to have ours set at 99 degrees to make it run continuously, if on lower temp keeps shutting off

I am so incredibly happy with this firebox. It fits perfectly in my mantle surround. It has so many features! The colors of flames and embers to name a few. The heat is quite effective, and blows out strongly. I am a very satisfied purchaser. I would totally recommend.

Have an old bungalow with a shallow "fireplace" and this insert popped right in and gives a nice warm glow- and real heat when we want it. Only needed to make a small painted wood surround to hide the gaps between the insert and the brick surround.

We had a older RealFlame fireplace what I love about it is the height and nicely made but you needed to use The Real Flame cans I didn’t want to do those anymore I wanted electric, called the company they told me to get the electric insert, fits perfectly and was a quick switch! Highly recommend
