It worked but it didnt fit right. I had to make modifications to the laptop and the back of the jack since it had too much glue where the wire connects to the jack so it wouldnt fit inside the laptop. The pictures show the back with a smooth flat back. I should have taken a picture but i just wanted to get the job done. The white plug also had to be modified to fit into the port. My laptop was old so i made it work, otherwise I would have returned it. I might avoid this if you dont want to take a chance.

This was perfect. The exact match to the original. Simple un screw the hold down and unplug it. Very simple. If I need any other replacement ports, I'll be trying here first.

Claims to be compatible witg HP 15-AY041WM but it is not. There are tabs on both sides and this model only has one sided tab. Attempted to fit it anyway which turned out to be a mistake. Shorted out my motherboard so now I have to either buy a new laptop or replace my motherboard Which is at minimum $160.00. Be careful buying these parts.
