This canister is much like the rest of Rok’s range of coffee equipment: beautiful to look at, robustly made and elegant in its simplicity. The rolling o-ring is a great example: it enables air to be forced out (via the valve in the lid) and a seal made when you insert the lid, but it un-makes the seal and allows fast removal of the lid when you want to get beans out.Time will tell if it keeps the beans fresh until they are all used up, but so far so good! I was slightly sceptical about the canister’s proportions, being shorter and squat, but this has the added benefit of better control when dosing beans. I.e. I can shake out the correct amount onto my scales without having to keep re-adding and removing beans to get the right amount.
