This strings sound too metallic and you have to be careful with tour thumb position when playing the E string.

It sounds bright in a very weird way D string in particular. Waste of money!!! I don’t recommend it at all.

They sound good but I honestly prefer D'adario's sound and feel. Lasted for two months playing a lot. Now they feel very loose.

Great strings specially for flamenco style. I like the sound of base strings.

After searching online forums, it turns out the “is the unwound G treble string always so much fuller than the other strings” wasn’t my imagination, it’s a common issue / question across acoustic and acoustic/electric players. In my case, the problem of inconsistent tone across strings was particularly pronounced on my “plugged-in” sound on piezo-bridge-centric instruments, such as a Gibson Chet Atkins CEC and a Wright Guitarworks Soloette - both “classical” nylon instruments without bodies that are designed primarily with their “plugged-in” sound in mind (albeit with very different design concepts; the Soloette employs tiny electret mics in a bridge chamber, while the Chet Atkins uses a more conventional saddle pickup system, but one with an individual piezo element per string, with six per-string volume trim pots)...Anyhoo, this “mutt” composite string set turned out to be just the thing - brightening up the often too-dull “g” plain string, and scooting the tone of the “e” and “b” trebles and the three wound “bass” strings closer to a balanced middle ground. Other reviewers may complain that the “carbon” brighter “g” treble in this set - while at the same time, the classical guitar folks on the forums insist that we should just get used to the slap-in-the-face bright basses and muddled sounding “g” strings. In my application, anyway, this set was a great “middle ground” that split the difference between the “Goldilocks and the three bears” situation of other instruments and other string sets. For me, this turned out to be just the thing - this string set costs more than others from the same Savarez brand, and much more than the D’Addario Pro Arte sets I was auditioning prior, but it’s well worth the higher price per set for the balanced and clear sound I’m now getting compared to other nylon classical sets I’ve tried in the past - very pleased. No set of strings is be-all and end-all magical panacea, but these make me want to play more and I’ll be ordering several sets to keep in the guitar cases - I think that says it all.

I have had the Savarez Cantiga 510 MI High Tension strings on for about 10 days and really like them on my Cordoba F7 Paco Cedar Top. They needed about 2-3 days to warm up/ break in and are now very silky smooth on my fingers. Great tonal variations. The intonation is perfect on all strings. To me they don’t feel like a traditional hard tension string at 91.39lbs. They remind me of DÁddarío EJ45C when they are broken in. I think I’m going to keep using these for a bit. I hope they hold up to our door humidity and heat.
