The generous 12 3/8" x 7" sized full pad provides superior comfort and support that is needed for the long rides. Its unique hinged design and adjustable tongue allow for 1'' of vertical adjustment as well as 3'' of horizontal positioning helping match your desired fitment. A convenient removable storage pouch snaps to the back face allowing the passenger to keep items handy. A completely removable design allows quick detachment of the backrest with the hidden mount system. This system allows the user to remove the pad when not needed yet easily attach the pad when desired. Utilizes existing hole in the 2014 and newer Spyder's. Fits can am Spyder RT 2010-19.

Missing parts but faster for me to get them instead of waiting for them. Install wasn't bad but a little bit different due to the seat on my 2014 Spyder being different. Can't wait to use it for our weekend crusing.

I found this to be easy to install on my 2014 Can Am Spyder RT. The instructions were fairly well written, however I do recommend watching some online video's on it just to help. This took me about an hour to install and I was taking my time doing it (double checking everything). I would also recommend using painters tape anyplace you have to drill or cut just to help keep things clean.

UPDATE: 1.5 year later... still nice backrest but did run into an issue with connecting bolts under the seat. It stripped out, made entire thing loose and able to fall out. 1/4" medal plate is not enough to stop threads from stripping out.It's a nice backrest. Comfortable, adjustable and does what it supposed to do.Keep in mind that installation is not for the faint hearted. Cutting into your factory seat and drilling holes is sketchy to say the least. It does come with good instructions and process is straight forward. Remove this, measure that, drill here, cut here, attach this and that and you're done :) Hardest part for me was to align screw holes with a part that's now inside the seat.Honestly I don't see any other way to install a backrest on the seat that was not originally designed for it. They did a good job with that has been given. I'd do it again if needed.ONLY disappointment is that it's NOT removable as stated in the advertisement. I mean, everything is screwed in together. Even if you'd unscrew the backrest part there still will be a big piece of metal sticking out of the seat. If you remove it all, it would be like installing it all over again.

Bought this backrest for my CanAm Spyder. It came with approximately half of the required fasteners. It's just a pain to buy something so carelessly packaged. Learned my lesson.

NIce high quality backrest. Glad to see they changed all of the visible hardware to powder coated black too. Installation was pretty straightforward but as always allow yourself lots of time as the bolts and square nuts that hold the seat on are a little difficult to remove. I actually had a question on installation so I called Big Bike Parts. A nice lady answered the phone and while she didn't have an answer for me I got a call back in an hour from someone who did. Found out it's all made in the USA too! Comfortable and looks like it's OEM at half the cost.

Dossier amovible Smart Mount (Can Am Spyder RT) de Show Chrome Accessories 41-168A est très bien fait. La qualité des matériaux est aussi très bonne. Facile d'installation en suivant le guide qui est aussi bien fait (disponible en Français et anglais). Je l'utilise depuis un mois et j'en suis pleinement satisfait. Ce support dorsal rend ma conduite plus agréable et a réduit mon mal de dos.

商品が予定どうり届き、開封してみたら取説が英語のみさっぱり理解できないのでロゴをネットで検索したところ取り付けの動画がありました喋っているのは英語ですが画をみているだけで自分でうまく取り付けられました。非常に良いつくりにシートとの色合いも全く違和感なく満足しています。

I disliked nothing about this backrest. Quality is outstanding and installation is easy. I don't understand how some reviews said the metal bends easily...You would have to be a beast to bend this metal..It is strong and sturdy..You won't be dissapointed purchasing this item
