I chose the white version of the AINSKO Smart LED Bicycle Helmet, for better visibility, and the fact that that color shows dust much less than a darker color. The helmet itself is lightweight and has a protective covering of shock absorbing foam on the inside, as well as adjustable straps to ensure a perfect fit.Of course the star of the party is the LED screen on the rear, which is large and completely customizable. The app allows you to select from a plethora of colorful designs from text to animation and more. You can adjust them to suit your needs, and the colors really pop on the large, BRIGHT screen.A controller is included which you can attach to the handlebars of your bike or scooter. This helmet shines during the day, but is especially useful at night as the LED screen really helps you to stand out to the vehicles around you. The AINSKO Smart LED Bicycle Helmet is a must-have for anyone who's safety-conscious or just want to have fun while out on a ride.

It's a good helmet. The fit could be a bit better. The front and back seem to tight, even with the size adjustment all the way open. The screen is fun, kind of gimmicky but adds to the uniqueness of this helmet. Besides the front and back issue the helmet seems well made.

Wearing a helmet when riding a bicycle is hugely important. It's also hard for people to read my sloppily made attempts at turn/stop hand signals for bikes. With this I've got a remote control on my handle bars that I can just hit a button for and the LED display will perfectly communicate what I am, poorly, attempting to do on my bicycle.The helmet fits very well with plenty of adjustments to make it comfortable. It also has, as you would imagine, cushioning that protects the head in a fall. There's a hard layer of plastic on the outside and a soft layer of foam on the inside to absorb impacts.I was curious about the battery life on this so I totally charged it then left it running in my garage for over a day. It was still running strong after the first day, it only lost steam at the end of the next day so almost a full two days running 24/7.My favorite feature has to be the ability to put custom animations on the back of the helmet. A great use for this would be at an event so you could have contestant #s on them, or you could use it at a family BBQ and have your family name on it like we do with t-shirts for our big reunions.It's a great way for an old man like myself to be able to safely bicycle and I'm loving it.

FIT:I have a 21.63" head circumference that falls into size small for bicycle helmet. Well I don't fit in a size small bicycle helmet because my head is flatter and wider than normal and the size small helmet is too narrow width-wise. However, my head fits into this LED bike helmet width-wise perfectly or comfortably and not loose. The strap tightening system cinches my head to the front of the helmet comfortably. I didn't have to change the total length of the left strap, but only adjust its division at the left buckle. I had to shorten the total length of the right strap by about an inch. A good width-fitting helmet is comfortable and does not hurt or bother at all.LCD:Aren't LED screens too gimicky on a bike helmet as it does not really work, but only adds weight and are a hassle to use? NO! It is not really heavy at all. I do feel a very tiny amount of weight, but it is insignificant in feel, even when worn on the head. When I first turn on the LED screen, and cycle the lights with the remote, it blew me away. I love the RIGHT, LEFT, STOP lights, plus the other non-signaling lights. The helmet can also pair with the app on my Android phone and allows controlling of the turn and stop LED signals on the helmet screen. Brightness can also be adjusted. Plus, other additional displays and options are also available. You can create your own displays also. The ONE CLICK for TEXTS allows creating animated texts and activating them with a single click in the phone app is pretty cool and useful. Even charging of the battery has animation. Turning on the helmet screen shows battery level too. As the software continues to progress and develop, it would be even better with subsequent helmet model.Design:There are plenty of ventilation and padding, but not too much. There are NO painful pressure spots. The color white is great for visibility in low light or at night. It is matte white, so doesn't look plasticky shiny. Very well balanced in design.
