Worked and held great. No defects, and a year later, no rusty fasteners.

Very strong bolts, pull the douglas fur materials together very nicely. Definitely a good buy for a project that needs some good structural fasteners.Recommend these for sure!

Bought these to attatch eucalyptus poles for a frame, they're awesome, a small pre-drill hole in one side and I was off to the races, was able to build the whole thing in an hour or so, and it's indestructible.

Paid $55.35 plus tax Canadian (full price) on April 16th, 2024. Thought that I would pick up a couple more but on April 23, 2024, the product is now $86.49 plus tax (Canadian). Given this substantial price increase, I'll pass.

i couldn't find the equivalent SPAX or GRK brand in the store in this size. I bought this box of 25 and couldn't be happier with them. Decent price too for 25.

These cost me far less than ones from Home Depot and worked well to anchor my outdoor box steps on my new double deck.

I was a little skeptical that something this large would be self drilling. They work really well. These are amazing. My 18V drill with a T-30 driver just puts them straight in. I have used them to fasten two 6" pressure treated posts together. Job done in under a minute. So, yes, very easy to use.

These things are amazing in what they'll hold and unbelievable in how tight they will pull wood together. ...I love them

Awesome fasteners! We used these for my son's Eagle Scout project. He was adding in top and bottom box / U steps to a hillside step set. This set of steps was built of U's of 6x6, overlapped, with gravel infill. So the construction is a lap joint for the face and the legs/tails.We needed to fasten through the front lap joint into the next steps below.I used my Makikta driver (awesome!). We pre-drilled some to save battery (no good charging option on site) but then just started using them natiively. Put where you ant it and with the T-30 bit and the Makita driver, just drive them down through stacked 6x6s. The top is pulled tight against the bottom and youre done. The only thing I will say is when they are in - they are in to stay. One step we had thouht to move (you know - the design vs the "as-built") . But the makita could not remove these! We'd have needed a far larger hammer drill. Not a big deal - and the reason is - think about it- this is basically making it' own path - without clearing any material (like clearing flutes of a drill). So once it's "set a bit" the wood squeezes back in. Not a negative - I'm just saying when these go in - they're there to stay!
