I love this fire. It is beautiful. I built the frame myself out of baseboard. Nice remote . Great value. Just installed it. I will update, if necessary.

I had a woodburning fireplace in the past and always loved the warmth and ambiance it brought to my home. My new smaller house would not accommodate the addition of a real wood burning fireplace without giving up way too much space - not to mention the cost. I looked long and hard for alternatives. I had a gas fireplace previously and really never liked it so it was rarely used (burned too hot even at low settings). I settled on an electric after much research. With so many options to choose from on Amazon it took a while to make a decision. I finally settled on this one based on size, features and reviews. There was a bit of a mixup in ordering but it was due to Amazon and not the seller. The seller stepped up and made what could have been a stressful process very very easy. I hired someone to build out the mantle and enclosure. The end result is beautiful. I have all the ambiance and warmth that a real fireplace brings without having to give up the space or money and much less hassle. This fireplace warms my entire kitchen, nook and family rooms - about 900 Sq feet. Works beautifully. Love the 9 flame options and multiple heat settings and timer. I also use it often without the heat for coziness it adds . Very happy with my purchase and with the seller.

Very enjoyable in our basement. Very sleek looking when flush mounted in the wall. The heater takes the chill out of the basement area, and it runs quietly. The only drawback is the display on the fireplace is difficult to see when sitting away from unit. It’s difficult to tell if the heater is on High or Low. In use for 30 days so far.

This was an easy project once the hole was in the wall and it was framed out. The insert is easy to install with the glass front giving you a bit of wiggle room when you cut and frame. We added 2x4 framing laid flat so it only stands 2” off the wall and shiplap top to bottom. Faux mantle from Amazon and away we go!Had to wire a new outlet in our closet near the new opening and simply punched a small hole to push plug from fireplace through to reach new outlet.Heat works fine but didn’t purchase as a heat source only aesthetic. I like the multiple color options but as one buyer pointed out there is a beep each time you change features. I really don’t care but my little pup doesn’t like it so much.Buy this now, you won’t regret it. This is the 36” if anyone is wondering.

Product looks nice and adds a home like feel to our living room. I custom built the surround. The heat output isn’t much but I didn’t expect much since the description said it only heated up to 400 sq feet. The heat fan is not the quietest but at the same time not too loud, but you can hear it when it was on. The remote was the cheapest built aspect of the fireplace as I accidentally knocked it off the coffee table the second day I had the fireplace installed and it (the remote) does not work anymore!

This electric fireplace was exactly as described. Installed it in an existing enclosure, with a small amount of work it installed quite easy. The heat is good, takes the chill off the room, flames look amazing.If you are installing it in and existing fireplace, a 36 inch opening fits well. Only thing I had to do was to raise the unit with a wood piece and install boards to keep it secure on the sides.Pleased with the purchase.Included before and after pictures showing the install pieces.UPDATE: 9 months later I cannot turn it on. The seller does not respond to multiple attempts to contact them. Remote does not turn it on, tried batteries in the remote. This item is junk and no response from the seller
