The only caveat is that it should fit the end button hole. do not alter the existing violin end button hole size, but if it fits, it might noticeably improve the sound quality.

Used Medium 8.3mm for my instrument, along with titanium tailpiece/tail-gut, I got the sound that I was happy with. The dark/subdued instrument turned very neutral with increased projection. I'm happy with my investment.
