APPEARANCE: The Sideline Deluxe Gold electric fireplace is designed for recessed in-wall mounting. Creating a cozy atmosphere of a traditional fireplace, this electronic fireplace has realistic flames with a real fire look. The Sideline’s five flame intensity settings radiate a soft ember glow up to an intense blaze. Control the heat and flame with the remote control. Enjoy the traditional look of the faux log hearth, or install the crystals for a more modern style.
SMART FIREPLACE: The Sideline Deluxe Gold is Wi-Fi enabled for smart home connectivity and mobile app controls. Compatible with voice commands through Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
INSTALLATION: This Sideline Deluxe Gold installs simply and can safely be attached to framing studs. The sides and back of the unit remain cool with the heat feature on. We recommended at least 8” of space between the top of the fireplace and your TV, mantel, or picture, and at least 20" of space below the ceiling. The Sideline Gold can be installed in existing fireplace openings safely. Consult with a licensed professional to ensure your unused gas lines and vents are properly secured.
OPERATION: The Sideline Deluxe Gold's heater will take the edge off a cool room or basement, and it can be run with no heat (flame effect only) in warmer climates. The Sideline Gold comes with a 6-foot power cord for a 110-120V outlet. It is also hard-wire ready for in-wall install. The unit draws a max of 12 amps, so the fireplace can be used on a 15-amp circuit. A 20-amp circuit may be necessary if other electronics operate on the same circuit.
FEATURES: The Sideline Deluxe Gold features an unmatched realistic flame with nine color options. The Sideline Gold includes faux-fire logs and crystals to create an authentic feel, as well as an IR remote control for adjusting the flame color and intensity, the heater, and shut-off timer. Front facing heater vents allow you to position the Sideline Gold just 8” under a flat screen TV. The Sideline can be hardwired or plugged in to your electric source.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 1. We recommend 8 inches of space between your fireplace and TV. 2. The Sideline Gold pulls a max of 12 amps. 3. The fireplaces includes a wall-mount bracket, if you don’t recess it. 4. You can install the Sideline Gold in an existing fireplace opening. It stays cool to the touch on the sides and back and is ventless. You can use the Sideline Gold with just the flame and no heat. 5. The heater will warm up a cool room, but won’t replace a primary heat source.

The gold-framed fireplace adds a striking focal point and luxurious touch to my bathroom renovation. While it's unfortunate that structural limitations prevented recessing it fully into the wall, the mounted look still achieves an elegant and modern aesthetic. The gold frame complements the other metallic accents in the room beautifully, like the chandelier and faucet fixtures.The fireplace's sleek design with its crystal ember bed creates visual interest and a cozy ambiance. Its placement above the bathtub allows for a relaxing view while soaking. The extra space above provides an opportunity for personalized decor, as I mentioned.Overall, this fireplace elevates the entire bathroom's style, contributing to a spa-like atmosphere. It successfully blends functionality with high-end design, making it a standout feature in my remodel. Despite the minor setback with mounting depth, the final result appears quite impressive and luxurious.

Product was damaged in shipment. Touchstone really took care of the problem. Refunded a portion of the cost and extended the warranty for 2 years. We are building so it won't be installed for months. Amazon processed our refund to our Prime card the same day. Great Customer Service all the way around. This is the 4th Touchstone we have purchased. Been very pleased with every one. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because of the damage in the back of the unit.

Excellent quality and price. Love the variety of color options and heat it gives off. Bought this more for the wall entertainment unit. Very impressed with the ambiance it gives off when not using the heat function.The realistic wood inset looks very realistic. We don't use the glass stone option because we like to wood inset better. Very easy to install if you have the rough opening framed and outlet directly behind.

This is a great electric fireplace. It was packaged extremely well. It is very sturdy not cheap steel like many others. To hang it, two screws in two studs is all you need. If not, they give you appropriate drywall fasteners. Takes a 2x6 wall to install inside. Actually 5.25 thick. I hung mine on the wall and built a cedar frame around it and to hide the cord. (See pic)The logs look great and the fire effect is very good. The heater is a nice plus. It uses a squirrel cage fan and is fairly quiet. It has a low and high heat setting which is impressive considering it is a 120v heater.My only comment to Touchtone would be to put a “white” cord and plug on the unit. A white cord blends in with most walls, a black one takes away from the beautiful unit and needs to be covered up. White would have to cost the same as black but look much better.Everything considered, I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting a beautiful fireplace at a reasonable price.
