Nice little translator, does require WiFi for some language access libraries to be loaded. The only reason for 4 stars for initial setup. This was a pretty simple process. Wide choice of language options online, only 5-6 resident offline as shipped.Does well for product guides in another language as Google lens only goes so far in ability to translate, so a device like this fills the void not to mention being both online and offline functional. Not only does this do scan/translate it can do text to speech, it can be used as a travel translator if it is loaded with the right language library.This product was a Good value over others costing as much as 5x the cost. Would recommend it as a multi use Text and Speech converter. Battery life so far seems good. RECOMMENDED.

You are unable to translate the content you recorded. Try to find the instruction manual to troubleshoot. The result was in vain. I won't recommend this brand or product to anyone, it's a waste of money! Free Google Translate is more user-friendly and efficient. Poor performance, overestimated.

Éste bolígrafo traductor fué lo que escogió mi hijo como regalo de Navidades, está en su primer año como estudiante de grado de Traducción e interpretación y yo tenía mis dudas si cumpliría su funcióm o no y si le serviría para sus trabajos en la Universidad y tengo que reconocer que ha superado mis espectativas con creces. Se conecta mediante wifi y bluetooth. Tiene un audio excelente y es muy fácil de usar.

You must be connected to WiFi and you must know the language that you’re translating and a usb is needed to download recordings. I am not privy to all languages nor can I detect which language it is. I thought it was something that would listen and translate the other language spoken into English. Everyone says my iPhone does it but I’ve never spent time working with it. I need something speedy and reliable intelligence.
