Worked fine in my 2" hitch with the adapter.I went to put in my 1.25" hitch and it got stuck. Tried cleaning the hitch, tied filing the the hitch step for manufacturing edges etc.Finally measured the step shaft and it's 1.265" my ball hitch measures 1.245"No wonder it gets stuck
