I am having 2 Chicken coops built and decided I needed an automatic door for the safety of my chickens at night and decided on this one. Unfortunately for me I did not look at the opening measurements prior to purchase and so I did not realize until it arrived that it will be to small. This is such a nice door that offers lots of extras.

I ordered this one for my jumbo pekin ducks but it is clearly too small so I will use it as a door to let my chickens from their pen into the goat pasure this summer and will be able to give accurate info then. They already have an auto door on the coop which is great. After years of locking and unlocking them up I highly recommend an auto door if you have chickens!

THis is the perfect chicken door. Well built and solid. Great value for the money. All install parts are included; the solar cable cable is plenty long. Perfect size for the chickens....easy to mount and use.

This is a wonderful door. Easy to install and it works great. Love all the features and functions and the timer is great. Love the solar charging feature too. Closes securely and keeps my chickens nice and safe

I am very happy with this automatic chicken coop door! It was easy to install and feels much sturdier than others I've tried. Metal not plastic. I love the solar charging too, making sure the chickens are safe at night. Solar chicken coop door was easy to program. The remote even works well at some distance, which was handy with the time change.

The door and door frame of the coop seemed to be made of sturdy metal. I tried prying the door open by hand and it felt secure enough to withstand an attack on the chickens by a cat, dog, fox or other animal.I like to set the door to open and close at specific times, or I can use the light sensor to make the door open at sunrise and close at sunset. The solar panel has a long wire so I can place it in the best position to capture sunlight.
