I actually loved this coop scoop when it first arrived. It was super easy to put together, lightweight, easy to rinse and cleanup when it is dirty. It is perfect also as far as size, you can adjust it to be a shorter scoop or a long shovel length scoop. However within the first few uses it bent almost to a 45 degree angle. I tried to fix it but after a couple more uses the sifting shovel part snapped off. I think for cat litter it would be ok but if you have more than a half dozen chickens (which is what I use it for) you will need something more durable. Also, for the functionality- most chicken poo will not stay inside the scoop, if the scoop had smaller holes it would work way better. As far as value it depends on the use. For cat litter or similar things it would be a great value but for chickens is not.So in short if it’s for chickens it is a hard pass. If it is for cat litter it would be great!👍🏼

I use sand as my substrate in the chicken run, and this scoop is great! I'm in my 50s, so the extendable handle is awesome. It is a pretty sturdy construction, too. Not like I'm banging it around or anything, but it seems quite solid. I think the space between the bars could be a bit smaller, but overall I am very pleased with this purchase and would buy again.

This has been awesome! It can be extended to a long enough length so I don't have to bend much to scoop the chicken coop floor. We put sand in the coop and I just scoop the sand and throw away the poo! A Life saver for me! I recommend this and will buy another if this ever wears out. I looked for several months for something like this, I'm so glad I found it.

I use it to clean my chicken coop floor. I have a mixture of sand and kitty litter,works great.

Great pooper scooper for my chicken coop. I use sand so this scooper easily sifts right through it. So easy my 5 year old can use it. I love the loop at the end so I can hang it on a hook on the wall.

UPDATEafter contacting the company they sent me a new one free of charge. I think the first one just was not welded good. The second one is working much better and it is great to get eggs that the chickens have laid in hard to get to areas again thanks again for great customer serviceMy return window closed on October 17th. It broke on October 19th. I only used it maybe 5 times. Normally I would use it to get eggs that where under something so it was no hard use. If you can’t even pick up an egg with it how would you clean your bedding. Also holes are to small for bedding to drip back out of that is why I never used it to clean bedding with. Don’t waste your money like I did
