smaller than a normal lantern but well made, solid, heavy for size (good) and bright light.

Bought it, used it once. Garbage. Completely worthless and extraordinarily overpriced.Inside the glass turned black within 5 minutes, no light emission, it’s extremely EXTREMELY tiny and just absolute junk.

Its quality is undeniable. When you fill it for the first time, you feal each part in your hands you can tell it's made with high quality material. It looks beautiful. It gives off enough light to be able to see at my camp site. It gets a little hot but I own a lot of lanterns so I knew it would. The fount stays cool enough so no worries of fire (if you know how to use lanterns). You have to remove the burner from the fount to fill it like the old 1920s and 1930s small lanterns. I am an outdoorsman, so I wanted to try it out camping because of its size. It's small and easy to carry. Easy to light, fill, and easy to use. The only problem that I could find with it is the price. I think that if the price was dropped it would be easier to recommend. I think that it would last for years if it's taken care of. It's a great lantern just a bit small and overpriced. Not sure who the target consumer is (backpacker, camper, hiker, fisherman, or home decorator).

My wife loves kerosene oil lamps, and this one fits right in with our outdoor setup. We have it on the table where we sit and watch the stars, and it adds a nice bit of warmth and light to our evenings. The brass finish gives it a vintage look that works well with the space. The lantern feels solid and weather-resistant. We've left it outside a few times, and so far, it hasn't shown any signs of rust or damage, even with the humidity in our area. The glass globe provides a good barrier against the wind, so the flame stays steady even with a light breeze. The fuel tank is easy to fill without spilling, which is helpful since I’ve had spills with other lanterns. It holds a fair amount of kerosene, so we get several hours of light before needing to refill. The wick adjustment works smoothly, letting us control the brightness to match what we’re doing.Lighting it is straightforward, though getting the wick at the right height can take a couple of tries for a consistent flame. Once it’s going, it burns without much smoke, which makes sitting around it more pleasant. The handle on top makes it easy to move if we need to relocate it, and it's also useful for hanging. One minor note: the brass gets quite hot after a couple of hours, so you need to handle it carefully.

This is tiny,it reminds me of the old time skaters lamps,it is built realy well, when you get a hold of it,you just want to light it up and use it,it is going on a camping backpacking trip to the fingerlakes national forest,it is plenty bright for camping.if light in my house, its like fire light from a wood stove.about what a good night light will do.I think it is cool and well built, and it has a place along with my 12 other lanterns .Its one of those things that the build is well engenered, solid and every thing is even,i like things that are made so i cant find a flaw.Everthing is bent, stamped and assembled perfict.who built this cared.

I’m still in shock over how nice this company’s “Firedance” unit is after starting that up for the first time earlier and now there’s this product and I’m loving it too. Everything about it is quality and it’s exactly what I was hoping for, a small “well made” durable fuel miser that puts out just enough light in one’s immediate area to see what you're doing. Other fuel hungry lanterns can do their thing when needed. I’m seriously loving the things I’ve bought from this company so far and will be buying more of these for the bathrooms and other spots and have a little tote of replacement glass, wicks, etc on a shelf for the future…. Highly recommended (after numerous low quality leaky lanterns)

This is a quality made lamp , not flimsy or crude like most of the ones I have seen or purchased (mainly brass type cheap India ones)!!!! I needed a couple of smallish lamps for my sailboat and this fits perfectly in the smaller bee berth cabin and at my sit down chart table! I especially like the quality (fit, function and form), stainless steel and wick size (increased light)! I use a large lamp in the main saloon, but these complementry lamps are exactly what I was hoping for and worth the modest price range. This company gets my hard to earn thumbs up! I bought two different models. I will give a review of the other one when I receive it.
