What is a Valve Cover Gasket?
Valve cover gasket is designed to seal the valve cover to the surface of the engine cylinder head, the valve cover gasket prevents motor oil from leaking out of the joint part.
Pay attention when replace gasket:
* Pls use genuine gasket,wipe the two joint surfaces of engine and clean valve cover with a soft brush.
*Clean the valve cover with cleaning agent, clean the contact surface between the valve cover and cylinder head, install the valve cover gasket, apply gasket maker, and screw the screws diagonally from the middle to both sides.
*Don't scar the valve cover surface when carving debris.Tighten the fixing bolts of valve cover evenly,not too tight,which might hurt your cover.

Install went fine but it just kept on leaking. I cleaned and prepped the surface multiple times and it just kept on leaking from the valve cover and the bolt seals. I bought the Fel-Pro gaskets and install them and it stopped leaking.
