The Stainless Steel housing enhances protection from corrosive and outdoor elements. Mounting extrusion with variating knockout sizes proved for a simple installation. Heavy gauged grounded and water resistant cord included for simple plug-in power feature. Hinged cover includes a loop to safely lock the power Supply with an optional lock to secure access from inner contents. Multiple wire taps ranging from 12v-16v on terminal strip for long runs where voltage drop may occur. Plug-in outlets are built-in for optional photocell or mechanical timer installations. 100Ft, 250Ft, or 500Ft WAC landscape lighting 12x2 low voltage Burial landscape cable spools are recommended for installation.

This is a well built unit for outdoor use. It's a big box which results from the extra space devoted to installation of a separate timer. It has knock-out plugs in the side of the case, toward the front but none toward the rear, behind the timer platform. I wanted to use a Zodia/Jandy pool controller to switch garden lights (adjacent to the WAC), but there's nowhere to run the wiring from behind the timer platform to the front where the knock-out is. My GCFI didn't like the result.

It is a high quality stainless steel magnetic transformer; it’s made very large to accommodate optional internal accessories like timers and sensors—would have preferred a smaller model that doesn’t support those options. Works great with my low voltage landscape LED lighting!
