Installed these on my 2021 Ram 2500. Very nice looking, and all the brackets fit properly on the truck. The steel isn’t very thick, but they are holding up so far without any issues, or excessive amount of flex. One issue I did run into, the hardware kit was lacking a couple M12 nuts and lock washers. It included a bunch of hardware i didn’t need, and not enough of what I needed. This resulted in me driving around town to try to locate a store that carried the right size metric hardware.

The engineers at Westin are absolutely amazing, I ordered these bars for my 2021 Ram 2500, I was impressed that the mounting brackets went on easily and fit perfectly, and all the mounting hardware is incl. Nice set up, and made in the USA!

Westin 4" Nerf bars look good. Took about a hour to install (by myself) on 2014 Ram 2500, Bighorn Crew cab. Directions were good, with lots of details. (maybe too many details) "If you truck has this, do this, that, then these, if you truck is like this, disregard... Took a little bit to figure out, exactly what I had, and how it was intended to mount. Parts were very well marked. When I was ordering, I wanted to know: how far would they stick out? The info wasn't really mentioned. These stick out enough to actually be seen when exiting the vehicle. (see pics) They stick out as far as my stock tires, outside edge. Nice, WIDE 4 inch step plates. Only attaches at the ends of the tube. 2 HEAVY brackets. Pretty solid, with very, very little flex.

Buyer Beware. I recently bought these exact same Westin step bars from Amazon. They arrived super fast, and they could not be more beautiful. The step bars, and the brackets used to attach them look first class, but the bars themselves are lightly built. They are made of 16 gauge metal which should be sufficient as a step bar, for most people, but they are not heavy duty. If you want a heavy duty nerf bar, look elsewhere. Sadly, the hardware supplied to attach them is not first class. Of the four so-called stud plates with nuts welded to them, and used to attach the brackets, three out of the four were absolutely worthless because the nuts were not centered with the hole, and the spot weld had also ruined the threads. I tried to salvage them by using a high speed grinder, and the proper sized tap, but in the end I made my own in my shop. The bolts supplied are supposedly Class 5 rated. When considering the application, the size of the bolts, and the torque values given, a Class 5 bolt should be sufficient, and proper considering the attachment points. Having had considerable experience as a mechanic, I find that the Class 5 rating of these bolts to be highly suspect, considering the softness of the metal, and the fact that a bolt smaller than M16 with an 8.8 marking is an obvious counterfeit . Also, after studying the design of the tubes, I realized that the only thing actually holding the tubes are two thin welds, 1.5'' inches long in 16 gauge metal at either end of the steps. There are no real points of support whatsoever. These so-called steps are a disaster waiting to happen. They look nice, but that is the only positive thing that I can say about them. I will be replacing these soon, with RAM OEM step rails. There are very good reasons why OEM costs twice as much as junk from China.

Just as some others said, they were really easy to install and look great. I really like the larger size, I had 3" on my last Ram and the extra 1" makes a big difference when you go to step in. My family and I can finally get in and out easily!!!

First pair had several dents in each one. Amazon made it right and shipped another set immediately. This set had a ding in one of the bars and Amazon gave me a gift card to cover the slight imperfection, which I was happy with. The bars are really easy to install and look great. I had a set of Westin Round bars on my 03 Ram and they looked good when I traded it in 10 years later

these came quick and easy to put on. but the directions are not the full proof. there are bolts welded on a tap, some have a nut on the opposite end and some dont. the directions dont tell you where to use each type. i had to undo some of my work because of this. I found out the hard way

Shopped around and chose these for the lifetime warranty on the stainless steel (other non-stainless versions seem to have three years or less), and the wider diameter step for my wife and son to get in my truck. Mounted onto my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 in just under 2 hours. Instructions were clear and easy to work through. I spent time beforehand organizing the parts to ensure I had the correct ring washers and lock washers for each bolt, which helped to avoid errors other reviews have referred to in mismatching the washers. These look great!
