I purchased these for my new 2022 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss. I like the blacked out look of the truck. I was debating between a matte/textured finish or the gloss finish of these nerf bars. I am glad I got the gloss since it better matches the paint. Installation wasn’t bad, but took about 2 hours. The little plastic things you need to remove from the mounting holes on the truck were a pain to get out. Glad I had a creeper! Also, do not tighten down the brackets until all four are on, and the nerf bar is mounted. That makes tightening the brackets a pain, but I tightened one side down first and then the bar didn’t line up, so I had to go loosen the brackets to get it to work right. The brackets have two bolts on the top and two on the bar. The lower of the two on the top was also a big pain since my ratchet set wouldn’t fit between the plastic bracket covers and the bolt. I found if you put in the lower bolt first, 70% of the way, hung the bracket on it, installed to top bolt most of the way, then when you went back with a little manual wrench it only needed a few turns. What I really love about this set is the wheel to wheel length and having the third step by the bed. That helps when wiping off the back window, etc.

I do not like how low they come down. They make the truck look like it is lower to the ground. Guess I ordered the wrong steps for me. Plus your shoes/boots hit the rocker panel when you go to step into the truck. Otherwise they are nice quality and easy to install. Sturdy. However to bulky.

They only problem is the was a dime size dent unnoticeable if your not looking for it beside the first step pad. Pretty sure it's from shipping the way the ups guy was handling them. Had to get on truck and help him get them off. Bumped them into the railing on his truck. I had told him to hold on I would help him. It was a large box. As to be expected obviously.

Worked perfect on my new Silverado Trail Boss LT. The only minor issue I had was removing the black covers that come on the truck (where the bolts screw into). My advice, get a chisel and a pair of needle nose as a screw driver did not work as well. Once you get it out a little bit, use the needle nose to "unscrew" it, instead of popping it out. I was afraid of it breaking and leaving a piece of the plastic cover in the hole. All directions were perfect and it took me about 2 1/2 hours total. Could probably do another truck in less than an hour now that I know how it works.

Good quality nerf bars. Easy install. Really enhance the look of my truck. Would recommend to anyone.
