I’m glad I bought these. They are structurally advantageous and they look real nice too.

Fit a standard 4x4(3.5”) nicely. Once screwed in it was solid. A great compliment to a new deck.

Have these on our deck and worked great except for the hardware. Bolt head snapped off had to buy 2 more bolts.

Terrible experience with the product and their customer service team1. It does NOT fit a standard 4x4 Post. There is nowhere in the UK that actually sells timber that will even fit this base, you will need to cut the standard 4x4 post down to make it 3.6 x 3.6 to fit the bases internal size.2. The included bolts sheared off easily when torqued up lightly3. Customer Service failed to address the issue of misrepresenting this as a 4x4 fence post base (Remove that from your title, you sell a 3.6 x 3.6 fence post base! Hence why all your reviews are bad.4. There are also design faults with this but I'm not sharing those with the seller as they don't deserve the help to rectify a badly designed product.DO BETTER Yesland and shop elsewhere guys and girls.

Solid bases. Used Tapcon to anchor to concrete. Just slightly bigger then a 4x4 post so you an plumb up the posts.

Works very well for attaching 4x4 post

These post bases are solidly made and seem like they will hold up well. Of course, time will tell how durable they truly are. The design is simple. I like that they are a matte finish rather than the shiny finish I have seen in some post bases. Installing them takes some effort, but it is standard for this type of part. Personally, I would prefer the design have a mechanism to keep the bottom of the post from resting on the ground, but I can easily rig something up and other people might disagree.

I have to rebuild handrails on an outdoor staircase made of 6x6 treated lumber. The posts have rotted but the stairs are fine. The original setup had the posts cut out for a portion and then bolted to the sides of the stairs. I was looking for a simpler approach that didn't weaken the posts by removing wood. These are perfect for my project. They're solid, sturdy, and use the whole post. They're very well-made and should last a long time. They look good and they're very easy to install. Just bolt them down, insert the posts, and screw them in place.

These are ideal for creating a fence on a concrete or paved surface. There are four bases, the bolts for mounting and screws for securing wooden posts. The bases are sturdy and well made but not very deep so probably better for lower fences four feet and under or for ground anchors for a structure.Fair price and decent quality iron post bases.
