The coasters are easy to work with; the only negative is that unlike other coasters these do not include the cork bottoms to attach to the coasters.

It is stated that cork back was included. Cork was not in box. I am very disappointed. I had planned these for an Easter gift but it will not happen due to product not as advertised.

I used to live in a desert state and will likely be going back so I thought these would be really cute to have there. They are cute, but I would probably only use 5 of these as coasters (it comes with 8) and do something else with the other 3 because they are a little too small to function as coasters. Some designs are smaller than the others, and 3 of them you can barely fit an average sized glass onto them. If you don't look closely and match the glass up just right, the glass could easily tip, which would be a real mess. Also, they do not include any cork, rubber feet, or felt (or anything) to put on the bottom of the coasters, so that will be an extra expense. They're made of a thin wood.They are fun to make though. I'm halfway through the set now, and the smaller ones take about 30 minutes, while the larger ones take closer to 45 minutes to complete. There is plenty of wax/glue to finish, and the drills are the pretty crystal type with silver backs. You get 17 different drills.There is a black wire stand/holder to put the coasters in. I don't think I'll use that since I do not plan to use all 8 as coasters, but if I was going to use it, I'd paint it tan (like desert sand). The black doesn't look very good with the lighter shades of purple and green in the designs.

This set did not come with the cork for the bottom even though in the description it says that all sets come with them. I ordered several other sets and all had the cork to attach to the coaster.

These coasters do not come with cork bottoms to keep them from sliding when in use. A sealer would have been useful as well.
