Works great. Very pretty. But only has 2 settings... Low 500watts, High 1500 watts. In my circumstances, low couldn't keep up and high was too much heat.I returned it for one with a thermostat so I can get the middle temps.

Nice color and flame adjustment though quite basic. It provides some heat but I don't think anyone buys one of these for the heat feature, it wont replace your furnace. The worst feature is the remote control distance that it will work at.We have an older model of one of these and the remote for the older one will work from across the room. The remote for this one requires you to be perfectly in front of the unit and within about 6-8 feet.So if your chair or couch is more than 6-8 feet from the unit and if you are not directly in front of it you will need to get up to change anything remotely. Also the remote is pretty finicky. Very slow to have an effect after pressing button.With technology as advanced as it is today there really is no reason this shouldn't be able to operate the unit from a further distance and work more efficiently.

This did not work for more than 30 days. I contacted Amazon and the seller and no help!! So I have a piece of crap that don’t work! Don’t buy it!!
