Camera does not create a clear video. It is horrible in low light conditions. Microphone is normal for an inexpensive webcam.I didn't need anything special but its just not that great.It will work for like business meetings or zoom, but don't try recording anything for a video or streaming.

I got this to replace an older webcam for my laptop. I am not impressed by this webcam. The video quality looks just a tad grainy no matter what adjustments I make, and my older webcam has much higher definition than this one, so that was a disappointment. It functions fine, but the whole point of this was for good quality video so I can continue seeing clients through telehealth, so I gave this product 3 stars.

For under $20, this is a great deal! I like that it stays put on the monitor easily, even though my monitor has a curve on the back. I like that it keeps a clear focus on my face during meetings. The one thing I don't like is that it is a little more zoomed out than I would like. I have another webcam that is 4K and it has the perfect default zoom for web meetings - but that 4K camera constantly auto-focuses to the point of distraction. This inexpensive camera had nearly as good video quality and kept a consistent focus. It was plug and play with Windows 11. For the price, absolutely no complaints!
