Good quality, sturdy and durable, easy to use, length and dimensions are just as described, I do have a big back yard and every now and then I get to see small to medium size snakes, this snake tong will make everything much easier, they have a nice grip and a strong hold as well, folding feature is perfect for storage, definitely a must have, good value and fast shipping as well

I know this product is for handling snakes, which I do have a lot of that I come across on my 8 acre farm property, though most of them are non-venomous and do not require removal. I like to let nature do its thing, as it is just not in my nature to harm nature. Remember, most snakes are not there to harm you. Always look for the difference in their head shape to distinguish between poisonous and non-poisonous varieties. (Do your homework on snakes that are native to your area!) Should a snake find itself inside your home, I understand the need for it to be removed and this product is just the tool for that job.This item is very sturdy made of high-quality metal and functionality you can rely on. It will also make a great tool for grabbing certain items around your home from hard to reach places. However, when it comes to handling snakes, try to remember that they are more afraid of you than you are of them, so stay calm, and use this product to grab the snake right behind its head. Make sure you have a firm grip on it and then you can relocate it to an outdoors location, or, with some skill, you can get it into a large plastic storage type bin with a lid that closes securely (make sure to put some small holes in it for oxygen) for relocation to a reptile rescue facility or location that is further from your residential area, like a rural area with large expanses of natural habitat for your unwelcome house guest. This product is the perfect tool that you will need to accomplish the task the most safely. I definitely recommend it to anyone really, because snakes can show up in any area and find themselves inside any residence, so this tool is simply a wonderful "just in case" tool to have in your home. Plus, even if you never encounter any snakes that need handling, I promise you will find other needs and uses for a long grabbing device with a much sturdier grip than those short plastic ones I am used to seeing!
