  • ITEQ 3.6 Pentastar camshaft phaser timing tool kit includes 3 timing chain holders, 2 phaser locks, and a camshaft tensioner locking pin to hold the Camshaft Phaser’s while performing the loosening and tightening of the Oil Control Valves during service procedures on the 3.6L Engine
  • The timing chain holders are used as wedges to securely hold the timing chain in place when servicing the phasers, 10200A-1 holder is used on driver’s side and 10200A-2 holder is used on passenger’s side
  • The phaser locks are used to hold the phasers in place during adjustments or removal, 10202A-right is applicated on the right bank while 10202A-left is applicated on the left bank
  • The camshaft tensioner locking pin is used to firmly fix the tensioner in place to service the phasers & timing chain
  • 2012 and newer models require 10369A, some 2011 models may also require 10369A, depending on the size of bolt in the front cover tightening sequence on the right bank (cylinder head closest to firewall). If that bolt head is 13MM you’ll need 10369A

They’re cheap. Cheap price and poor quality. Tensioner tools was not thick enough to adequately disengage the tensioner. Phaser gear tools dont engage the gears properly and are marked wrong.

Works good but gotta be careful ,when i was doing the left head the tool slipped out but i kept everything together till i got tool back in place.Just a warning be careful.It probably could happen with factory too as well

Yes, buy these tools. It makes the job so much easier. What is $20 when you are dealing with $300 camshafts. Do it right the first time and don't cheap out.

For the price it is a must-have for Chrysler v6 repair. The timing tensioner retractors only work with OE guides.

This timing set tool worked very well for the 2011 Ram 3.6L V-6 when replacing the camshafts and rockers. No issues. There are great tutorials on YouTube to complete this repair.

The wedge for the left head was a bit of a task to fit. This, no matter how much I rocked the phasers back and forth. However, with a bit of bangs with a rubber/dead blow mallet and some colorful language, it slid right into place. The piece did suffer a bit of marring on the teeth. This was needed to help it line up with the sprocket. After that, I was able to put it on and remove it easily. For the price, I have no qualms.

This worked out perfectly. I had a tap in my wife's 2011 Dodge Journey 3.6l pentastar engine and upon inspection found a bad rocker and damaged intake cam on bank 1. I was able to do the job using this kit with ease. While I only need the cam phaser holds it did exactly what I needed it to do and I highly recommend this kit, specially at the price point.

The only thing that is more or a less flimsy but still got the job done is the tentioner release hook. The kit other than that allowed to me to remove and replace two damaged cams and all 24 rocker arms and lifters on a 2012 caravan.
