The case was very easy to install with all the components and screws lining up. But the upper palmrest doesn't quite fit correctly. When I installed the touch pad there is too much play in it and the clicking action doesn't work because of the large gap up and down. Also, the metal piece designed to hold the touch pad broke off because of weak connection points. I was able fix that by using a soldering iron to melt the plastic back through the holes and secure it with a dab of hot glue on each point. Otherwise, the case is great.

This fit perfectly except in one way - the original button cover doesn't fit into this case just right. Just a slight measurement different somewhere - maybe the screw location, maybe a tab or two - just something off a bit. Otherwise right on target.

If you know the inns and outs of simple repair it's fine. If this is your first time, go to dell and reference the service manual for your computer. The fit and finish ok. It isn't horrible but is isn't the best. For me , the touch pad sticks out on one corner, the snaps to hold the palm rest to the computer come undone and it doesn't feel as rigid as the original case, but it will do in a pinch.

Itis very nice quality and seem the parts all fit in perfect as the original. Only problem is the brass anchor for the screws on the back cover and to the m.2 drive aren't on this board so can't screw them down. Other than that I'm happy with It and a good price

Palmlerst is made of so poor quality. The bottom part is not the right size. The bottom cover doesn't fit properly to the bottom part.

Fit perfect, no issues. Was gonna cost me $240 at the computer repair shop w/ labor. Instead it cost me $120. I could have done it myself but aint nobody got time for that.

Worked perfect, used to replace broken bottom cover that was broken on left hinge. Top palm rest panel fit perfect with bottom panel. Computer looks and functions like new again.
