It also adds 50 percent more punching output than traditional passive pickups, thanks to a thin metal cover that pushes the pickup closer to the strings. This enhanced string sensing improves dynamics and makes for excellent midrange, snapping highs, and authoritative lows. Definite upgrade from stock Fender pickups. Huge sounding with rounds and flats. Much higher output than a lot of other options but still remain crisp, clear & responsive. Great harmonics across the board and react very well to pedals. I used the Model P for years and these are a whole different animal in a good way.
