These are good strings, I would buy again. The color does not chip off and sounds good. Has a different feel then normal strings but obviously because their coated. 5 stars from this guy.

I really like these Neon Orange strings the color stands out and they really sound bright. I used them last night a a gig with a band. All the guys loved the color against the white bass guitar. By the way its a Marcus Miller Fender Jazz bass. The older version of these strings started chipping off fast after playing on them. Didnt have that problem with this set. I bought the light guage set. I play old school funk and smooth jazz, these string work great
