Okay, the cutters work great for 1/4 and .700 tubing 5 stars. The punch worked okay, about a third of the time I had to use the manual tool to open the hole 3 stars. The manual tool works great for punching holes but the plug insertion end can be difficult to use at times 4 stars. The 1/4 fittings are also difficult to work with as they seem to be oversized, not being barbed doesn't help (other than the 90 Degree elbow), using a heat gun to heat the tube helps tremendously with inserting the fittings into the tube 3 star.

The tools work well with the irrigation tubing I'm using. The cutter is sharp and the hole punch does the trick easily. I haven't used the hand punch much, except to stretch tubing slightly for the stubborn connections.The connectors do work but are stubborn to get onto the tubing I'm using. May be a super stiff tubing issue though (pro tip, soften the tube slightly with some heat and they push on like butter).Overall, not a bad kit and definitely an upgrade to the cheap throw away tools that came with my tubing.

Needed this to make the installation of the drip irrigation system in our small greenhouse easier. The purpose-made tools make doing a quality job much easier and efficient. The cutters are the lowest quality item but work fine and should last many years of our light-use needs. The number and types of connectors and fittings is very good.

We're expanding our drip irrigation system this year and punching holes and cutting tube is just sort of a pain. This kit solves all of that.1) The tube cutter is very smooth and cuts the tube with a great clean cut.2) the crimper style hole punch works well on 1/4 and 1/2 tubes but it really is designed for 1/2 tubing.3) The hole punch and "junction" insert is a neat design, where you don't have to try and grab onto the tube. You can apply much more pressure than just holding it.4) The collection of connectors is fantastic and way more than I was expecting. It's just nice to be able to have just about every type of connector with you. We have a collection of emitters and sprayers to add to our system and this kit should make it all go pretty quickly.Overall: Probably the best $20 spent on a garden related item. Since we're going to be adding a ton of feet of tubing, this is going to make the job much much easier.

Convenient set if your starting hydroponics or setting up irrigation in small gardens. The only reason I did not give 4 stars was the hole puncher for piercing taps was not sharp enough. Other than that, it worked fine. Well worth the price point and I picked up some extra fittings and line and threw together an old tacklebox and keep the kit right there with all of the gardening tools. Easy to use, like I said just the hole punch was a little too dull.
